Notice the subtle shading I have captured. Yes I know this is a self-portrait so no posts okay? Im sorry, alright? Dang kids anyway. So try to look at things thru my eyes. A field of sunflowers in mid summer near Hudson, Colorado, USA. You can find these places on a map of Colorado. I thought this was a refreshing picture. All of these photos were taken with small obsolete Olympus digital cameras , most in 3 pixels but a few in 12 pixels. All cameras are dead at the moment.

I also write several different things. Poems, childrens stories, stories from past times, and other things. I did win a small award of recognition at the University of Alaska in Anchorage Alaska during the 10 years i lived in or withing 100 miles of Anchorage.

The Spark

I thought I heard a whisper, in the softly sighing wind
I listened very closely and , there it was again.
The gently flow of crisp clean air, moving inland from the sea.
And as I watch the swirling mist an image came to me.

Your gentle eyes, your smiling face, pours over me like rain.
And I can see, within your gaze, your soul is free of pain.
That you can wander, wild and free and sail up thru the sky.
And as you look down upon me, you wish I would not cry.

For you know my dear I miss you, my heart aches for your touch.
When I lay alone at nite, I long for you so much.
The time is short my darling, when we again will kiss.
Its is your heart, that made you, you. That is what I miss.

So now its me, so all alone, and I have to carry on.
To walk thru memories we shared, I must still be strong.
Our life is but a moment, a flash, a tiny spark.
Just wait for me, your memory will, will light my every dark.
