The hats traps!
This is a ANTI razors set up. But you need razors
Your bot should have med chassi or large chassis. doesnt matter, but you need plow, razors and 6 large. Put razors at the back, plow at the front. Once you start, go FORWARD ONLY! no turns! Go till your almost against the wall, the fire all your razors quickly. Then turn to the wall, and your trapped. dont get out, let them come to you. If they have razors, use your plow! A plow tip is to, once the razors are close, go backwords. 99% deflection. So once you drain them of there razors, they have NO HOPE of killing you without getting past the razors wall. Once they charge thru, try to block the from getting past, so all the razors hit them. If that works, there dead. If not, you f***ed. Try to push them off the side of the building!


Fire your RAZORS of.


Hide behind, aim your plow at his razors.


Go back when they fire razors.


Hold them in the line of razors, if they get passed that push em off.

Another one:
The Hobo. Rear Razors, front spears. (see robot rage setups, BLITZKRIEG.)
Hide in the alley, and wait for the guy to come and attack you. If he attacks you from the front, fire spears, (keep 1.) If he comes from the back, (cant see it, but your bot moves forwards. duh.) Dont fire all of them they could bounce back and hit you. Needs practice!

It works believe me. He killed me time after time. I nearly got him once but that was all. I will try your razor wall anytime. i can beat it. i just know i can.

I remember I got round it by waiting till he was far away, and I could pass razors, then pulling in close to edge. When he came to push me off, I reversed, pushing him into the path of his razors!

Heres some tricks:
TheHat

Take a big hat and put it over your bot.

Ok, so heres a good trick. Youl need flame or razor (something rangeish)
When your enemy (as dist says, lol i just owned a corner camper) hides in the flame corner, go to the opposite corner ( the one most exposed ) and activate the flame. DONT go in the flame!!!! Stay in for s minute. Once a minute or so has passed, your enemy has relaxed. It might take an extra second to realize whats gonna come. Fire REALLY fast for a second or two, through the flame. (If you have flame thrower you might need to advance a bit... maybe burn 20 health :S) but, lets say you fire all spears in 1 second (easily accomplised ). Thats 100 damage right there!!!! If you have flame or laser among that, you could probably get em killed in 3 seconds. Ya.

Heres another one! THIS ones a trap!!!

When your enemy has little health or no weapons, he might go to the edge. When he does this you will try to push him off. He will move. This is a hard one to beat. He might have oiled it also. So how to beat this! If you have razors or spears as main weapon, when your halfway there, BAMBAMBAMBAM! Fire them all at him and take a sharp 90 degree turn. If YOU have no weapons or melee weapons, what you do is
A: Charge him REALLY fast.
B: Go REALLY fast, then when your almost at him, stop pressing forward, and reverse, so you tap him lightly. You MAY get into a brawl neat the edge, just get out as fast as you can and when hes preparing to get ready for another blast bash him, before hes ready. He should go flying of the side. But with A and B you must have a deluxe engine.
C: Battle him near the edge
D: Do nothing and wait for him to walk. ;D

The edge, whether the pit or the edge is tricky. Three wheelers are outpowered by 6 large on the edge. You want to spin when he charges you. Works really well with flash. One of my bots has flashed his way to ++. They are easy to draw near the edge if you dont seem like you can drive and nearly fall. Then they think "ah ha, piece of cake." Be ready for their charge and do what a judo expert would do, sidestep thier blow. Then one little tap, and before they know what is happening, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Good gaming.

Heres a good one I just found out. Fresh.
If you have daggers or spears or some melee weapon, take glue. Your enemy is charging you or something. Pin yourself down in glue, and when he comes you will both be stuck in the glue. Ram him and you should lock together for... a while

If you have glue and you hit your opponent with rolling pin, dagger, drill, saw, etc. while you're in glue, your opponent should fly away.

Well Hat they werent dependable were they? I dont care if they ever come back myself. Chat is dead period. Forums are open and they have a wealth of information there. As far as wolfy goes I dont want anyone to come back when they have failed so miserably. Keep the forums and dump the chat. Whomever.

I'm sorry Wolfy, I had 4 projects due and basketball practice everyday. I know that's a lame excuse but my parents don't really let me on until I'm done. I hope to be more responsive when the basketball season is over.

I understand. I forget i am old sometimes and think im some kid. We had a good thing going here and we had a problem. Boom! The mine explodes... and you go right through the fence.

Another way it can be used... is through walls

Repeat the same just near a wall. You go right through.
